Abstract

The paper shows the principle scheme of truck mechatronic control system with hill-hold capability, it also describes control strategy of ABS pneumatic modulator as hill-start system in automatic mode of power unit. Developed simulation model of ABS pneumatic modulator in AMESim allows us to test pressure control algorithm in brake chamber and evaluate the operability of the proposed control strategy. The seminatural experiment oscillogram of the pressure control process in the brake chamber while truck hill starting in automatic mode of the power unit and simulation results are presented. The comparative analysis of the performance evaluation of the offered control strategy and adequacy of the simulation model is also given.
